Born in the Marais neighborhood of Paris, Ferdinand Duval set out to demystify the effortless Parisian style and to showcase the full diversity of Parisian style for the American buyer.
Brand Strategy: Ferdinand Duval came to INEO looking for help in expanding into the American market. After successfully capturing the French market, they needed to improve and refine their strategy to appeal to the American buyer. We identified a gap in the market and positioned Ferdinand Duval to be the trusted source for a true, diverse representation of Parisian style, which is sorely lacking in the current market.
Brand Identity: For the romantic, free spirited, strong willed feminist. INEO created a brand identity that juxtaposes tradition and heritage with the modern, strong, sexy woman who knows what she wants. Colors were inspired by 1960's beatnik style, further carrying through an unexpected contrast of traditional and modern. We drew inspiration from classic films and old books as well as nods to Paris through their unique street signs to define the create direction and for the logo suite and custom pattern.
Creative Campaign: A tribute to 1960's Paris and imaging it through the eyes of an American living within the worldly diversity of NYC, INEO created a campaign for Ferdinand Duval to showcase their unexpected and diverse representation of the styles and brands that Parisians covet.
